1Record-breaking cover girl Marian Rivera is on the April 2014 anniversary issue of Women's Health Philippines! We know you girls love Marian as much as we do (FYI: it's already her fourth Women's Health cover!) and we just can't get enough of her! So imagine our surprise when she revealed that she's still flattered every time she gets chosen to be the cover.

"Alam natin na kapag sinabing anniversary, ibig sabihin malaking issue ito. So thankful ako sa Women's Health na ako talaga 'yung palaging nasa isip nila kapag meron silang malaking gagawin, lalo na 'yung issue na ito. Nakita ko 'yung pagtitiwala nila sa akin, kaya sabi ko sa sarili ko hindi ko sila bibiguin sa shoot, kailangan may abs ako,'' she tells FN.

1. She believes this is her best body ever because she religiously works out.

"Siguro payat lang ako pero hindi medyo ano sa focus na mag-wo-workout. Nung nag Darna ako nag-wushu ako, nag-arnis ako, nag-Muay Thai ako. Pero ngayon talaga 'yung rurok na 'pag kahit na anong busy ko eh nag-wo-workout talaga ako," Marian shares.

2. You should keep your options open to avoid a fitness rut.

"Dapat
very open tayo sa mga bagay-bagay, 'di porke't nag-Muay Thai ka, forever ka ng mag-Muay Thai. Pwede siguro yung iba-iba. Depende dapat sa personality mo, like ako, mahilig ako sumayaw so sumwak ako sa Zumba. At ine-enjoy ko siya. Nag wo-workout ako at the same time na-e-enjoy ko siya."

3. Limit your salt and sugar intake.

"Lahat pwede mong kainin, 'yan ang palagi kong sinasabi. Pero kung gusto mo talaga mabawasan, less salt. Iba talaga yung nagagwa ng salt saka matamis."

3. Being healthy—not being thin—should be your priority.

"Hindi porke't flat yung tiyan mo ibig sabihin healthy ka na. 'Pag may abs ka na healthy ka na. Maganda kasi 'pag alam mong healthy ka, mas malaki kompiansa mo sa sarili. Like ako, artista ako, 'pag nag-co-cover ako ng magazine, alam ko sa sarili ko na may kompiansa ako at kaya kong gawin. Iba naitutulong noon 'pag nag shoo-shoot ka."

4. If you're just starting out, take it easy first.

"Actually, nakakatuwang isipin na 'yung mga kababaihan ngayon mas vain na mag-workout. So ibig sabihin, namumulat na yung mata ng mga kababaihan na kailangan maganda rin ang katawan nila. Siguro huwag naman biglaan, siguro dahan-dahan. Gradual lang, tapos kung ano yung ma-fee-feel nila na mas compatible sa personality nila, yoon ang gawin nila."
