Maintaining good health is a priority for Pinoy Big Brother All In winner Daniel Matsunaga. In fact, the Brazilian-Japanese model-actor did not miss any chance to keep himself fit and healthy even inside the PBB house.

“When I’m working a lot, I still ensure that I do push-ups kahit sa set na lang. Even in PBB, palaging pagod, puyat kami sa mga tasks. And even though, pagod, puyat, I exercise pa rin,” says Daniel about his usual work-out routine inside the PBB house.

Because of this and his positive outlook, Daniel becomes the favorite choice to be the brand ambassador of the new San Marino Tuna Flakes which has two variants – In Oil and Hot & Spicy.

The hunk-model says he felt happy upon hearing that he was chosen to represent San Marino Tuna Flakes. He thinks it is perfect as San Marino is part of his healthy food choices.

“I have always been a regular patron of San Marino Corned Tuna. Now, I am happy that San Marino already has San Marino Tuna Flakes,” says Daniel.

Aside from being delicious, Daniel also approves of San Marino Tuna Flakes’ protein content which he needs for maintaining his hunk and fit body.

“After I work-out, I eat tuna. Our body needs protein…protein talaga.”

“I always bring a can of tuna to help on my daily protein requirements. How much our body needs depends on our weight.”

“As for me, I weigh 85 kilos… so I need mga 165 grams of protein per day. San Marino Tuna Flakes helps me meet my daily protein needs,” says Daniel.

The health-conscious celebrity adds, “It’s important for me to be healthy and fit. Kasi sa totoo lang, 30 percent comes from physical activities and 70 percent comes from the food we eat. Tuna helps a lot.”

“You need protein to maintain or gain muscles. And muscles are made of protein.”

Daniel also personally enjoys getting physical. “Yes, I’m very much into sports. I play a lot of football. Every day we have training,” he shares.

“I do work out two to three hours a day. Kapag may time, wakeboarding at iba-iba pang outdoor sports. Hindi kasi pwedeng sa loob lang ng gym.”

“I do a lot of challenging exercises.”

For Daniel, doing regular exercises is important in keeping his body fit.

He stresses, “You have to make time. Gusto kong maging fit. Gusto kong maging healthy. It’s part of my active lifestyle.”

“I always look forward to what’s new and what’s next. Talagang need maging fit. For my friends and I, there’s so much to do and conquer.”

“Being young, I feel there’s so much ahead–adventures, opportunities, and challenges. I’m living the moment now but excited ako for what’s ahead,” Daniel shares.
