Got milk? Include it in your daughter’s baon. According to a recent feature on Science Daily, milk may help prevent young women from becoming obese.

In a study published in the journal Pediatrics, researchers from the University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center analyzed the eating habits and lifestyles of 1,714 sixth grade students.

They found that girls who drank milk twice a day were less likely to become obese. However, the same could not be said for the boys.
