Nuts don’t just keep your heart and immune system healthy. According to a new study featured on The Huffington Post, munching on cashews and almonds may also help lower your chances of developing pancreatic cancer.
Researchers from Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School looked into the nut consumption of 75,680 women who were never diagnosed with cancer, and learned that, participants who ate one ounce of nuts twice a week showed lower risk of pancreatic cancer.
So instead of opening yet another bag of potato chips, why don’t you stock up on these natural goodies for your break time snack? They’re not just healthy but tasty, too.
