The French manicure was the hottest nail art trend in the '90s, and it hasn't been absent from nail salon menus since then. Its clean and minimalist look makes it super versatile: You can wear it at the office or on special occasions. (It's also popular wedding mani!)
By the way, the French manicure is not limited to just white tips. You can also use bright colored nail polish, too.
You can also try white glitter polish for a modern upgrade.
The only downside is that it can be challenging to do on your own. Painting a thin white strip is almost impossible to perfect.
Thankfully, Kelli Marissa uploaded a beginner-friendly video tutorial on YouTube. Her technique: She painted white nail lacquer near the free edge of the nail and just cleaned it up the stripe with a brush dipped in polish remover. To make everything look salon-worthy, she applied a gel-finish topcoat on the whole nail. The result was flawless!
