In her latest film Just A Stranger, Anne Curtis plays Mae, a married woman who had a secret affair with Jericho (Marco Gumabao), a man who is "half of my age," as she confesses in the trailer. Turns out, in real life, Anne has experienced being a secret lover herself.
On Tonight With Boy Abunda, the host popped the question from a netizen: "Have you ever been someone's secret?"
Anne revealed: "Yes. I have been...and it's so hard. Mahirap. Masakit siya.
I would never want to experience being a secret again."
The actress, however, clarified that she was never a third party. "I wasn't a third party... kailangan ko i-clear yun," Anne said. "Hindi lang talaga pwede ilabas ['yong] relationship."
In a report by PEP.ph, Anne previously aired out her thoughts about infidelity at a press conference, saying that there's a fine line between admiration and cheating. "Well, it's hard. Kasi ako, mahilig pa rin akong mag-crush. Alam ng lahat ng tao 'yon.
"I have a crush on Gong Yoo. I have a crush on Park Bo Gum. Andami ko talagang crush! And it's okay, you know. Erwan [her husband] accepts my fangirling... So I don't think there's anything wrong with having a crush on someone. But at the end of the day, when you cross that line, it will always be wrong."
Just A Stranger is currently being screened in cinemas.
