In a recent interview with television writer and vlogger G3 San Diego, the actress-philanthropist shared her own experience.

She went on to say that while there are always two people involved in relationship issues, the burden of cheating itself—especially if the other has been faithful—is only carried by one.

Angel has long moved on from that painful incident and is happily engaged to Neil Arce. “Kung dati kinasusuklam ko, ngayon—hindi naman ako thankful, hindi naman ako grateful—pero siguro naa-appreciate ko na napagdaanan ko ‘yong ganoong klaseng journey, kasi nagagamit ko siya sa craft ko,” she said, noting that there will come a time when one would eventually look back and be well enough to laugh at the past.

“Thank for my sadness, dahil doon sa sadness na ‘yon nagkaroon ako ng best actress award...And kahit papaano, nakatulong ako to uplift other women na may ganoong same journey, ‘di ba?”

Preach, Angel.
