The ABS-CBN Ball (formerly the Star Magic Ball) is without a doubt one of the biggest celebrity events of the year. Aside from being a night of glitz and glamor showcasing the best of Filipino designers, it's also a charity ball that aims to raise money for the Bantay Bata foundation.

Last year, the ball was bigger than ever as it welcomed numerous celebs like Nadine Lustre and James Reid, as well as the return of Anne Curtis. We also enjoyed seeing the short and sweet moments celebs let loose during (and after) the party.

On the other hand, "this year's efforts will continue what it started last year-to bring hope to underprivileged children, but this time, through the Bantay Bata 163 Bantay Edukasyon program," said an ABS-CBN source.

The program will cover the children's needs to have a normal education, "from complete tuition assistance to meal and transportation allowances."

How celebs got ready for the ABS-CBN Ball

Celebs also got ready by working out, (or, in Kathryn Bernardo's case, eating ramen) and also getting beauty treatments to look their best during the ball. The Belo Beauty Suite made a comeback this year, while The Aivee Clinic also offered room service treatments to some of their celebs.

Kim Chiu was one of Dr. Vicki's guests, whom the latter surprised with a bouquet of flowers to congratulate her for reaching one million followers on YouTube.

Belo Babies, including Kim, enjoyed popular treatments such as the Cryoslush Facial, Skin Reboot, Cinderella Drip, and Crystal Glass Mask.

According to Dr. Vicki Belo’s Instagram, the Skin Reboot is an “all-in-one treatment from enriched serum infusion to collagen stimulation “for that clear, luminous finish” it tightens and firms the skin.

Cryoslush, which Anne wrote on her IG story is her fave, “is the application of a cold ice mist on the surface of the skin for safer and quicker skin healing," according to the Belo website. "It’s an add-on procedure that can be after a facial or cleaning treatment... or after a laser treatment to help minimize downtime."

Some guests like soon-to-be bride Sarah Lahbati got their treatments from Aivee as early as the day before.

The Aivee Clinic offered treatments like the Beverly Hills Lift and Aivee Gold Laser. Here's their Glam Booth designed by Gideon Hermosa:
