International Filipina singer Charice is on a roll! Not only has she just nailed her last performance on Glee’s season finale, but she’s also busy working on her new album and filming for the Hollywood movie Here Comes the Boom. And the clamor for more from this pint-sized powerhouse singer doesn’t stop with her fans—it extends to some of the Philippines’s top singers who also love her singing! Just yesterday, Pop Princess Sarah Geronimo revealed that she will be collaborating on a single with Charice, ABS-CBNnews.com reports. “Nasa planning stage pa lang siya and I'm hoping na matuloy kasi international pop sensation si Charice (It’s still in the planning stage, but I hope it’s a go because Charice is an international pop sensation),” she is quoted as saying.“It would be an honor to do a collaboration with her.”
Meanwhile, Tony Award winner Lea Salonga acknowledged Charice’s singing skills in Showbiz News Ngayon’s "Tanong All U Can" segment on May 24. According to an article on ABS-CBNNews.com, a viewer asked Lea whether or not she’d be agreeable to performing “Listen” with Charice. “Hindi ko yata kaya. Hindi ko yata kakayanin kung 'Listen' kasi ang galing niyang kumanta (I don’t think I can do it. I don’t think I can manage if it’s “Listen” because she really sings so well),” she is quoted as saying.
