How can anyone get enough of nostalgic kawaii things?
We’ve already written about Sailor Moon makeup products, bags, and accessories. Now let’s take it a few levels higher with the newest release of Chinese tech giant Meitu’s limited-edition Sailor Moon M8 smartphone that comes with a camera remote, a bow-toting protective case, and a selfie stick that folds into a magic wand.
Yes, everything is trimmed in pink and gold, and yes we can hear the 12-year-old kid in you squealing.
The phone isn’t just eye candy. Its strength is its cameras: its main snapper goes for 21 megapixels, while its front-facing camera is at 12. Both are Sony engineered. It also comes with a 5.2-inch full HD IPS display, 64GB of storage plus 4GB of RAM, and a Mediatek Helio X20 deca-core processor (that’s a lot of cores) that’s juiced by a 3000mAh battery with fast-charge support.
Not bad for something so cute.
According to The Verge, only 10,000 units will be available, so if you’re a Sailor Moon fan, better get ready to shell out a good deal of cash as the phone is now officially on sale on the Meitu website for RMB2999 (approximately P21,691.88 at a P7.23 to RMB1.00 exchange rate).
