This Filipino-colonial-style structure is home to more than just its human inhabitants. The owner, a breeder of cocker spaniels, wanted it to be just as homey for his four-legged friends as well. This consideration, coupled with an interest in antiques and a limited lot area, resulted in a relatively contemporary structure sporting imaginative Filipino details.

This four-storey house is a thoughtful tribute to this nostalgic period with its reworked architectural elements such as decorative wood pilasters, pierced latticework panels, and sampaguita glass windows. These are all accented with a fascinating touch: murals of verdant vistas and gardenscapes. But although this house is filled with antiques collected lovingly and painstakingly to create the Old World charm that characterizes its interiors, it's the four-legged fur babies who make it a home.
