When planning their first family home, the owners of this contemporary knew they wanted to fill it up with relaxed, easy pieces with a casual, laid-back feel. “Part of the fun is sourcing, the hunting. When you buy something because it’s pretty, then you think… where to put it,” says the homeowner. The house is delightful medley of streamlined store-bought furniture and furnishings, hand-me-down antiques, custom-made pieces, and odds and ends scored from all over the country.
