"When you say endurance, this is the ability to withstand a prolonged activity," says The Peninsula Manila trainer Argie Samson. "The main tool for building endurance is cardio exercise, that's number one, pero 'yun nga eh (but that's the thing), most people when they try to build their endurance, they focus on just cardio exercises like running, biking, but what they need to know is that that's just one small part of the total equation.” Just as it is with strength training, building your endurance also requires a bit of weight training.
