When supermodel, actress, and TV personality Teresa Herrera started doing yoga in 1998, it sparked a passion that would factor immensely into her future lifestyle. A practicing yogini for over 10 years now—she does yoga at 6:30AM daily!—Herrera is an active member of the global yoga community and is certainly one of its most prominent forces here in the Philippines.  “It was an organic evolution from student to teacher . . . I just share what I know,” explains the Project Runway Philippines host, who is certified in Prana Flow Yoga as well as Yoga Trance Dance.

In her continuing advocacy for healthier living and her commitment to the yoga discipline, Herrera is spearheading a wellness weekend called the Body Temple Yoga Retreat from March 4 to 7 at The Farm. “It’s going to be a lot of fun, with daily yoga, meditation practice, healthy food, and amazing spa treatments. [It’s at a] great location, too!” shares the yogini.

Indeed, with its lush greenery and pacific accommodations, The Farm in San Benito is perfect for revitalizing tired bodies and slumping spirits. For 4 days and 3 nights, participants will be treated to the sanctuary’s serene atmosphere as they are personally led by Herrera in yoga, trance dance, and other restorative activities. As a nod to all the organic fitness buffs, a special raw menu will be served throughout the retreat. And get this: the resort is even offering special spa rates! How’s that for a happy weekend?

So whether you’re a long-time yoga devotee or a first-time follower, stretch those limbs, open those chakras, and sign up for the Body Temple Yoga Retreat!
