A recent feature on New Beauty suggests that magnesium can help lower stress levels. And using bath products with Epsom salt, which is rich in magnesium, will dial down your stress levels. Epsom salt isn’t exactly what you drizzle your food with, but this item, which is easily found in health groceries, has been known to be a great healing and cleansing agent for ages. When it makes contact with water, one of the minerals produced is magnesium, which aside from assisting in about 300 chemical reactions in the body, also helps alleviate stress with its natural calming effect.
