Claudine Barretto has refused to further talk about her estranged husband Raymart Santiago, whom she has filed a temporary protection order (TPO) against last July.

“Alam mo, ayoko na siyang pag-usapan. Hindi naman siya importanteng tao, at hindi rin siya sikat. So huwag na natin siyang pag-usapan, 'yun lang (You know, I don’t want to talk about him anymore. He’s not an important person, and he’s not famous. So let’s stop talking about him, that’s all),” the actress was quoted by ABS-CBN as saying during a court hearing on her petition to make permanent the standing TPO against him.

Raymart’s camp, however, said that the actor’s sole focus is to be able to see his kids again. At present, Raymart can’t see his kids Sabina and Santino, as the TPO prohibits him from going within 300 meters of the actress, whom the kids are living with.

“We actually don't want to be diverted from the main case, kasi the purpose talaga (because the real purpose) of Mr. Santiago is to get the children,” Raymart's legal counsel, Atty. Ruth Castello, was quoted as saying in a separate interview. “Ang daming sidelines pero we'll deal with them one by one, okay lang (There are many sidelines, but we’ll deal with them one by one, it’s okay.). We're still focused on the children.”
