Actress Angel Locsin and Azkals player Phil Younghusband might not want to put a label on their relationship or celebrate any anniversaries, but they still commemorated the first anniversary of the day they first went on a date with a short but sweet exchange on Twitter on February 13.
"It's been a year since that day of those shy smiles on our faces @PhilYHusband! :D" Angel Tweeted on her official Twitter account, @143redangel.
"Its a day I'll never forget. :) I remember thinking how incredibly beautiful you are," Phil was quick to reply.
At the premiere night of Unofficially Yours, Angel's movie with John Lloyd Cruz, Angel explained how she felt after receiving Phil's Tweet. "Obvious naman, hindi ako nakapag-react, hindi ako naka-reply. Parang nag-Tweet ako sa kanya, yung sa akin pinag-isipan ko. Tapos siya, nag-reply agad, parang very natural for him. Hindi ako nakapag-react (It's obvious. I was unable to react. I didn't even get to reply. When I Tweeted him, I really thought about what I wrote. But Phil replied really quickly, as if it's very natural for him. I was unable to react)," she is quoted as saying on PEP.ph.
When the press asked her if her relationship with Phil was official, she still said no. "Parang mahirap kasi may pressure. 'Pag ready ako, malalaman n'yo naman, e. (It's hard because there's pressure. When I'm ready, you'll know it.)"
