At the press conference for Phil and James Younghusband's contract-signing with TV5, PEP.ph reports that Phil answered questions from the media about his rumored relationship with actress Angel Locsin.
The Azkals star told the press that he and Angel prefer not to put a label on what they have. Nevertheless, they are happy with the way things are going. When PEP.ph asked him if his bond with Angel was all about having fun and just hanging out, he said, "No. It's not fun. I'm serious about Angel. And I want to have a future with Angel. And the way it's going, it feels like the first day I met her every day. So I'm enjoying. I'm enjoying being with her."
Phil shared that Angel is helping him learn Filipino using Tagalog songs. "I learn a lot from Angel. She's very down-to-earth, and she's so human. Very caring and very civil. She's one of the most amazing people [I've] ever met."
He added that if Angel had free time, he would gladly teach her football.
Meanwhile, Phil and James are set to host a short football series on TV5's sports channel, AKTV.
