Actress Angel Locsin received gifts from Azkals football player Phil Younghusband during her interview on The Buzz on May 15, ABS-CBNNews.com reports. While Phil was unable to give them himself, the athlete left handwritten notes on each of his presents, a gesture that made the In the Name of Love movie actress teary-eyed. Phil gave four surprise presents: a personalized card, a water tumbler with words written in silver pen saying, “I thirst for your affection,” a pillow “to make sure you’re always comfortable,” and a teddy bear “to cuddle when I’m not there.” For her part, Angel was surprised and flattered. “First time na may gumawa sa akin ng ganito. Ganito pala ang feeling. (This is the first time someone did something like this for me. So this is how it feels.) I’m very thankful sa time and effort,” Angel is quoted as saying. She also felt grateful that Phil understood that she wasn’t ready to take their “exclusively dating” status to the next level. But, “Kinikilig ako,” she admitted.
