"I just want to tell everyone that, yes, it's true, my daughter's pregnant." This is what Jaclyn Jose, mother of young actress Andi Eigenmann, confirmed in a  TV Patrol-aired interview on June 29, PEP.ph reports.

The admission came after rumors of Andi's pregnancy appeared as a blind item on a blog on June 23 and eventually spread on entertainment sites. Jaclyn was crying as she recounted her daughter's predicament. "Hindi madali, pero kailangan kong tanggapin. Kasi mahal ko siya at anak ko siya (It's not easy, but I need to accept it because Andi's my daughter and I love her)," she is quoted as saying.

Jaclyn also revealed that Andi's first boyfriend is the baby's father. "Iniwanan siya nung nabuntis siya (He left her when she got pregnant). I don't want to talk about him anymore. Wala akong hinihiling sa kanila, ni ayaw ko silang makita (I'm don't want anything from him or his family. I don't even want to see them)!" she is quoted as saying.

Andi is reportedly seeing Jake Ejercito, former President Joseph Estrada's son. Jake immediately gave his side on the issue in a Tweet: "I'd just like to ask everyone not to jump into conclusions and misinterpret what has been said. I am not Andi's first boyfriend. Let us just respect and pray for her, her baby, and family."

Andi supported Jake's statement by talking about the identity of her baby's father in a Tweet on June 30. "For your better understanding, I've only had one boyfriend before Jake whom I've only been seeing for the past two months. Therefore, Jake cannot be the said ex-boyfriend whom everyone has been talking about."

As of now, young actor Albie Casiño of Mara Clara fame is the only confirmed ex-flame of Andi. They were involved an issue a month ago when Albie accused Andi of cheating on him. As of press time, PEP.ph reports that Albie has yet to make a statement about Andi's pregnancy. Meanwhile, TV host Ogie Diaz was able to get a statement from Mrs. Casiño, Albie's mother. "Walang problema kung anak ko nakabuntis kay Andi (There's no problem if my son is the one responsible for Andi's pregnancy)," she is quoted as saying. "Blessing yan. And we welcome DNA Test."
