Thinking of a lactose-free alternative to milk tea? Soy Yummy is offering soy milk drinks and taho-inspired refreshers—and they’re franchising!
If you’re looking to invest and propagate familiar flavors, Soy Yummy is a good option. “Soy Yummy started its first store way back 2006 in SM North EDSA, the concept has always been to offer freshly made soy milk and taho that is clean, safe, nutritious and made from the best Non-GMO Canadian soybeans for our Filipino consumers,” says a company representative in an email interview with FemaleNetwork.com. “With the rise of many commercialized process soy milk in the market, Soy Yummy wants to focus our offer to naturally homemade products that can ensure the healthy benefits and eliminate the chemicals being used in a typical industrial soy processing plant.”
How to franchise a Soy Yummy store
1. Fill up a franchise form. You can download it here.
2. Submit the form complete with one (1) valid government ID and a Letter of Intent to Franchise to franchising@soyyummy.com.ph.
Pretty simple, right? After submitting your requirements, allow for two weeks for processing. A potential franchisee will then be invited to an orientation meeting within five working days. Do note once approved, Soy Yummy offers a three-year contract.
How to look for the perfect Soy Yummy location
As with other businesses, location is important when it comes to reaching your customers. Higher foot traffic means you’re more visible, which translates to better sales.
If you’re not sure about the location you’re eyeing, the Soy Yummy team can help you gauge its feasibility for business. According to Soy Yummy, a site with a 10 to 20 sqm of space in a commercial complex is preferred; however, this also depends on what you can manage, and the company is more than happy to assist you with setting up.
