These days, the life span of a relationship seems to get shorter and shorter. Ten years has become five years, three years has become six months. However, that’s not to say that there are no happy endings. If you want to stay with your man long until you’re past 70, take it from high school sweethearts Daisie and Bill Beadnell. The two are about to celebrate their 75^th wedding anniversary, but Bill tells their local newspaper that it feels like 25 at the most, reports The Huffington Post.

The two have been through polio, financial problems, the death of one of their sons, but to this day, they remain just as in love as ever. Their secret: communication. "We’ve had a lot of arguments, but we settled them all. You discuss things," Daisie says. "Come to a mutual understanding. Settle it. Don’t let it interfere with your happiness. Always come to a complete decision on anything vital," Bill adds.

Considering this advice has gotten them through the last 75 years, we say it's worth a try!
