Whether you’re an NBSB girl who’s tired of third-wheeling on friends’ dates or a woman who’s had enough of dating all the wrong guys, here’s a bit of advice: Love yourself first, and we mean REALLY love yourself. You’ve probably heard it a million times from many different people, and yet the way you look at yourself and your so-called shortcomings says you haven’t really taken it to heart.

So we’re saying it again. Fall in love with you first. Stop comparing yourself to friends whom you think are thinner, prettier, and smarter than you. Stop looking at yourself in the mirror and seeing only your "giant thighs," your "visceral fats," and whatever else you see as a flaw. Stop settling for what you think you deserve and start going after what you really want.

"To get where you want to go, you’re going to have to rewrite the script of your life and make yourself the star. And, you have to define who you want to be your leading man," says Dr. Phil McGraw.

You're an amazing person who is capable of so much love and compassion. Go show the world what they're missing.
