Becca Siegel and Dan Gold are traveling the world...but not (physically) together. The couple met via dating app Bumble in December 2015. Becca was based in Hong Kong but has since moved to New York, and Dan is traveling with a program called Remote Year, which encourages entrepreneurs to live and work in a different city each month. Dan left for Europe last May, and the two have met up four times since then. While they're apart, however, they merge their experiences together through an IG account called Half Half Travel. Both photographers, Becca and Dan combine their stories by putting their photos side-by-side with a little Photoshop magic. Take a look:
When asked how they make it work, Becca told Insider, "If you don't hear from your boyfriend/girlfriend for half a day, it's because they lost service on a mountain (both guilty), or because their phone died (same for this), not because they don't miss you. Equally important are planning visits/trips and looking forward to having new adventures together, counting the days 'til you next see the other person, knowing that you're both thinking about each other, and, of course, sending postcards and surprises in the mail!"
