If you need a reason to celebrate with babe, preferably with a glass of alcohol, this is the best excuse we can give you today!

According to a feature on Bustle, a study published in The Journals of Gerontology Series B: Psychological Series said that one's drinking habits might be an indicator of how satisfied you are in a relationship. Of course, this isn't the first time relationship happiness has been linked to a drink—as some of you might have experienced before, coffee can also save relationships!

Anywaaay, the study was done on 4,864 married couples who've been married for more than three decades (wow) and found that those who drank together had less "negative relationship quality" over time. The things the experts looked into: how often each person drank, how much they drank together, and how demanding or critical they think their partners are.

The experts found that those who drank together (or abstained from drinking together) had less negative interaction compared to those who drank alone.

Now there's a reason to clink your glasses and toast to a better life together. But never forget to drink responsibly. *winks* CHEERS!
