To all appearances, Mimiyuuuh is living the dream of most online content producers.
Within a year of vlogging, she has collaborated with celebrities like Heart Evangelista and Alex Gonzaga, and was tapped as a red-carpet interviewer at the ABS-CBN Ball 2019.
Lately, she has been teaming up with brands as their new endorser and coming up with new plans.
The 22-year-old witty YouTuber said, "We'll see more of my travel vlogs.
"Iyon yung isa sa mga na-e-enjoy ko sa trabaho ko talaga, iyong pag-travel."
Talking to PEP.ph at the launch of Cebu Pacific's flight promo "Be a Baryahero", Mimiyuuuh said that before becoming a vlogger, she and family rarely traveled for leisure.
Her first trip outside the country was with her former boss, designer Mark Bumgarner.
Mimiyuuuh recalled, "Ang first kong travel talaga is first year high school ako. Pumunta kami sa Lanao del Sur...
"First out of the country ko before, work sa Thailand... Naging designer ako ni Mark Bumgarner. So meron kaming business trip to Thailand kasi doon niya ginagawa iyong bags niya.
"First time ko iyon pumunta sa ibang bansa. Kasi sabi, 'O sige, magkita na lang tayo doon.' So siyempre, kinakaba-kabahan ako noon. Pero naging proud ako sa sarili ko na kaya ko naman pala."
So where is Mimiyuuuh headed next?
The YouTuber cheerfully enumerated to the press her bucket list: "Siargao, Boracay—hindi pa ko nag-bo-Boracay-and Palawan.
"Batanes! Ang ganda sa Batanes daw po. Dubai, kasi marami daw OFW doon so parang tropa-tropa lang. Maganda daw iyong mga sand-sand doon. Korea! Gusto ko mag-Korea soon."
Mimiyuuuh's tipid travel goals
Although she has earned enough from her endorsements to support her travels, Mimiyuuuh has continued to rein in her expenses.
She shared, "Mag-abang talaga kayo ng mga Super Seat Fest, mga super sale, saka maghanap talaga kayo ng Airbnb na mura, na swak sa budget. Iyon talaga.
"Ako, sobrang tipid talaga. Kahit sa mga damit ko, nag-u-ukay pa rin ako. Tine-treasure ko iyong worth ng every peso talaga."
After becoming a YouTube sensation for her viral memes "Kahit Ayaw Mo Na" dance and "Dalagang Pilipina Challenge" last year, Mimiyuuuh finally got her hard-earned chance to fly to other countries for leisure.
Her first two destinations were Singapore and Japan.
When asked which of the two countries did she enjoy more, the vlogger replied lightly, "Singapore, okay siya, pero kasi ang weather medyo mainit unlike sa Japan.
"Sa Japan naman, sumobra ang lamig, winter, so na-feel ko talaga ang lamig ng Japan sa Osaka.
"I think mas-okay ako sa Japan kasi iyong food. Malapit sa puso ko ang Japanese food."
Besides her love for Japanese cuisine, Mimiyuuuh named Japan as her favorite destination for this reason, "Mahilig ako manood ng anime—Black Clover, saka tinapos ko talaga.
"Isa iyon sa mga dahilan kung bakit ako natuwa sa Japan, kasi mahilig ako sa anime."
