By now, you've probably already heard of Van Gogh Alive, an interactive exhibit of Van Gogh's works happening in One Bonifacio High Street this month, but might be missing a few details here and there. If you and your BFF are planning to drop by (and you should!) here are things you need to know:
1. It's happening from October 26 to December 8, 2019 only.
This is a limited run, so best schedule a trip early on!
2. Tickets are selling like hotcakes.
Especially for weekend shows! As of writing, there are still available slots for the weekedays. Tickets are at P750 for adults and P450 for children and students. Kids who are two feet and below can enter for free!
3. There are seven shows in a day.
Here's the schedule:
- 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- 12:30 p.m. – 02:00 p.m.
- 02:00 p.m. – 03:30 p.m.
- 03:30 p.m. – 05:00 p.m.
- 05:00 p.m. – 06:30 p.m.
- 06:30 p.m. – 08:00 p.m.
- 08:00 p.m. – 09:30 p.m.
Remember to arrive 15 minutes before your slot!
4. It's an extravaganza aimed to tantilize your senses.
It's not just about what you can see, but what you can hear, feel, and even smell. You'll be immersed in over 3,000 displays of the iconic artists' works as you trace his life and and his struggles through his distinct use of colors and shadows: "Adults and children alike will forge their own paths and find their own meaning as they wander through the galleries, exploring hidden nooks, viewing artworks from new angles and discovering unique perspectives."
