For some people, the City of Pines is already losing its charm—what with its busy streets, commercial establishments, and a drop in temperature reminiscent of Manila heat. But this home's owner would always have a soft spot for Baguio, if only for the fact that fond childhood recollections had taken place in the family's vacation home in the city.

The house features natural weaves, quirky curios, and pops of color. However, the structure is still a lovely old soul. When bringing in brand-new stuff, the owner made a conscious effort not to make it look new. Each area has its own theme expressed through the furnishings—weaves for the living area, fishes for the kitchen, cats for the landing, and big animals for the second bedroom—clear proof that much fun was had during the decoration of the house.
