1There's no denying the fact that we just love to grab ourselves a latte to perk us up in the morning, but sometimes, there are hidden calories in your mug namely, sugar. Also, most people cannot tolerate lactose, or they need to lose a few inches by eliminating full cream (oh so delicious!) milk out of their diets. We stumbled upon this simple recipe that will send the calories away without sacrificing the java jolt you need.

You'll need:

1 cup almond milk or nonfat milk or skim milk
1/4 cup brewed coffee (may be instant coffee dissolved in hot water)
1 teaspoon maple syrup
4–5 ice cubes

Stir all the ingredients together. Tranfer on a tall glass, drop in the ice cubes. That's it. you're done. Maybe take an Instagram shot before you take a sip?
