1. Gear up.
Shop for an eco-friendly reusable water bottle that suits your lifestyle and taste. Choose the perfect color, design, size, and functionality. Do you prefer a tumbler where you can draw your own sleeve design? How about one that comes with a filter? Want the sporty kind that you can attach to your bag? Would you like a cute straw to go with that? Invest like you’re buying your first designer bag. The more time you spend choosing or customizing your bottle, the more likely you’ll make it part of your daily routine.

2. DIY water stations

Have an emergency stash of fresh bottled water in your car’s cup holder. Create little water stations around your house or office area. Have a pitcher or jug of water on the table by your bedside, next to the couch, in your terrace, and at the corner of your work desk. Arrange and decorate that area. Place inspirational post-in notes or reminders such as, "Drink up!" and "How many glasses have you had today?"

3. Download a water app.
