1. CHECK YOUR HOME.
Examine it for possible allergens, particularly stuff you have just started using: pillows, rugs, cologne, or detergent soap. Use hypoallergenic personal care products, and throw out stuff you don’t need. If you suspect an allergy from animal hair or droppings, keep your pets outdoors. Vacuum frequently, change the sheets often, and clean moldy cabinets under the sink. It’s possible that you are exposed to an offending substance in the morning, and your symptoms manifest only when you’re already at work.
2. CHECK YOUR IMMEDIATE ENVIRONMENT.
Could your allergy be caused by the car air freshener on your way to work? Do you live close to factories, dumpsites, or highways? Another important question: Do you smoke or hang out in smoke-filled places?
