Lover, mother, daughter, wife, girlfriend, friend, employee--most of you probably fill at least a few of these roles, all of which are positions that rely on your ability to be there for others. But what about you? It's altogether too easy to forget that "me" time is essential if you want to have the emotional and physical stamina to fulfill your obligations to others.

If you had a hard time maintaining the Superwoman act last year, make sure you take some time for yourself this year. Remember that a little bit of self-indulgence goes a long way when it comes to making sure you can keep your chin up no matter what life (or your guy or your family or your boss) might throw at you. After all, even Superwoman needs to take a day off now and then.
