Living life on the road seems like a romantic ideal for many, but makeup artist Phoebe Leonor made it her reality. Inheriting a 1996 Kia Besta van, she transformed it into a mobile home, and has never looked back since.
“The real struggle was starting,” she told Summit Media. “Siyempre this is not a typical lifestyle… It can be discouraging sometimes, pero kasi nga I was so passionate about this van, so I didn’t let anyone talk to me out of it."
Naming her van "Choice," Phoebe shared that living the van life has taught her the value of living simply.
"Nagkaroon ako ng sobrang daming time mag-reflect. Hindi mo kailangan ng mga maraming bagay to be happy."
