October may be Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but the celebrations began as early as September when the Asian Hospital and Medical Center opened its Breast Center, the first integrated facility that offers a one-stop shop for breast care using the latest technology and medical expertise.

By the first week of October, ICanServe Foundation has rallied its resources to host several events including the Pink Power Cancer Forum and the ICanDance, ICanServe Zumba Fitness Party to raise funds.

Avon will be holding their annual Kiss Goodbye to Breast Cancer (KGBC) Walk and Run against Breast Cancer at the SM Mall of Asia Open Grounds today.

Meanwhile all throughout October, Mushrooms Ministry has gone pink by working with 30 different restaurants on recipes featuring locally grown oyster mushrooms to raise funds for the ICanServe Foundation.

All these initiatives are meant to spread breast cancer awareness or raise funds for organizations. Do you have your own way of celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month? Let us know by leaving a comment below!
