Janelle Manahan's legal counsel, Atty. Argee Guevarra, claimed the Bautista household uploaded a video of Janelle and Ramgen Revilla being intimate online earlier this week. Janelle is a witness in the Ramgen Revilla murder case whose main suspects include RJ and Ramona Bautista, Ramgen's siblings.

Guevarra said the Bautistas possessed Ramgen's laptop and transferred his files to another computer. Atty. Jose Caringal, legal counsel of Gail Bautista, one of Ramgen's siblings, refuted this statement in an interview on TV show Umagang Kay Ganda."Walang gadget na naiwan si Ramgen; kinuha na lahat ng pulis (None of Ramgen's gadgets are left; the police took them all)," he is quoted as saying on PEP.ph.

But in a phone patch interview on the same show, Genelyn Magsaysay, Ramgen's mom, admitted that they did hold Ramgen's laptop. "Ang telepono po wala sa amin, ang laptop lang po ang nasa amin, pero naka-lock 'yong laptop namin, naka-lock 'yon (We don't have his phone, but the laptop is with us. It's locked though)," she explained. The rest of Ramgen's things were confiscated by the police after his murder, she said.

Genelyn added that they had no access to Ramgen's files. "Basta ang alam po namin, 'yong laptop po na iyon, wala po nakakaalam ng password ni Ramgen. Maaari pong alam ni Janelle ang password. Hindi ko lang po masabi kung talagang alam niya o hindi niya alam. (What we're all aware of is that no one knows Ramgen's password. Perhaps Janelle knows. I just can't tell if she really does or doesn't know.)"

"Ang kahihiyan po ng anak kong si Ramgen ay kahihiyan po ng buong pamilya (Ramgen's disgrace is also that of the family's)," she said, reiterating that the Bautistas had nothing to do with spreading the video.

Genelyn also said she believed Janelle played no part in uploading the video. "Ako po'y naniniwala na hindi niya magagawa 'yan dahil iyan ay kasiraan. Sana po talaga ay mapalabas kung sino ang may gawa niyan. (I believe she didn't do it because it's disgraceful. I hope whoever did this will surface. "
