Hooray for Kutchie!! You know what it means when the bride is able to avail of the discounts given to her coordinator?........ It means that the coordinator does not pocket or accept the commissions extended to them by the suppliers.

This stylist told me that it is not openly discussed in the wedding industry but there are many many coordinators that really get kickbacks/commissions from suppliers.

Sulit talaga ang full time coordinating service if you get an honest and good coordinator who doesnt get any kickbacks!! The savings alone will offset the steep cost of full planing services. Tricky part is finding a coordinator like Kutchie who has the clout, and the honesty and integrity to not get kickbacks.

Ninja8, just to clarify, to what extent was the coor booked, for OTD, partial or full coordination? Because although most coors do entertain queries even if di pa nagstart their service with you, technically pag OTD their responsibility starts at 1 month before. If full coor service yan then may pagkukulang na talaga sila.
Next, il advise your friend to check the clauses in the contract. Because whatever she signed up for there is going to hold.

@sparlingjewel she booked their OTD services lang daw. When she wanted to terminate the contract, hinde daw pumayag and insists that they pay in it full. There are no termination clauses in the contract, only cancellation ones lang which is parang weird. I have yet to see her contract first  but she is already furious. It could have been avoided daw if they were apologetic but they countered by asking them for full payment. All her major suppliers are booked already down to the missilattes. I think she needed someone to guide her lang along the way and sadly she didnt find it with Jetts and Rhona from the very beginning. Nanisi pa ata sila Jets and Rhona na hinde daw sila naCC sa email with her all suppliers. Based from her understanding, she thought turnover lang ang sa inyo she will turn it over on the timeline they gave. She wanted to terminate the contract lang malaga based from the actions of the couple like delayed replies and lack of attention to detail.

@chili1131 honestly I dont know what to tell her anymore kase I guess she found them nice at first but of course you only find out how they are when she starts booking them. Upon inquiry, mabilis magreply. When she booked them and sent them the deposit slip, nawala na daw. Rhona even had to follow up pa with the deposit slip with her eh nasa trail ng email. So parang nawalan na siya ng kumpyansa. Exactly my views on that too. Pano yun are we compelled to pay for something like that? Or pilitin mo lang sarili mo even if my lamat na kayo. i honestly dont get it. How do we go about suppliers like this?

I asked her to actually sign up for girltalk and asks the most experts here. I mean compared sa iba my amateur kame. Thank you super for the advices. She now wants to book another coord for partial she's eyeeing Kutchie too I think pero ayaw nyang magoverlap until the couple team signs the termination letter.

Hi ninja8  I'm a Jets&Rhona bride-to-be. According to the cancellation clause of our contract, if the couple decides to cancel, Jets&Rhona gets to keep the downpayment made, and the couple has to settle the balance in full. I know it's a lot of money, but that is what is indicated in the contract. I got their OTD service too btw.

^If the cancellation terms aren't clear then maybe you can build a case against them with that. I respect the disappointment your friend went through with how they delayed they are in attending to her. And since OTD lang sya, you can argue na they cannot charge the full amount when the work hasnt even begun, strictly speaking. Having sacrificed accepting another couple is not a valid excuse kasi your friend booked them din naman and is already forfeiting her dp.

Now playing devil's advocate here so you can anticipate their argument. They can also say na kung OTD lang kasi yung service, technically, their work only starts 1 month before. Client might be complaining already but strictly speaking, the actual service agreed on hasnt even started yet; there is no strict obligation pa to the couple. Still, i would say they have no right to charge the full amount UNLESS this is what they stated in the contract. Only then will your friend be the one responsible since she signed the contract.

Hello @juwie Yes I read that however a cancellation and a termination contract are different. She sent a termination contract.  Uusally pag termination typically refers to the ending of a contract, usually before the natural end of the anticipated term of the contract by exercise of one party of one of his remedies due to the default of the other party. Wala atang clause for termination tama ba? Termination is agreed by both parties while cancellation does not.

So far how are they with you? I dont want to be biased pero i saw the exchange of messages between them. Mejo unprofessional kase to say that they are out on a date. It felt like parang nakakahiya na guluhin sila.

^ my friend got married 2 years ago got Jets and Rhona as coordinator and they were happy about the outcome. Everything went smoothly naman. I just don't know if they have changed they way they do business now.

Sis nakalagay naman dun. Kutchie's coordination services are under the name "Getting Married", mentioned pa nga before Jenny Lim.

How much rates ni Ms Kutchie?

40k partial coordination (2 months before), 55k for me since im a Tagaytay bride. She doesnt have OTD.

My friend got Kutchie for her full coordination. She works with limited budget too. But mid range suppliers. She got huge huge discount as well kaya nakatipid yung friend ko.

Hahahahah! I'm Kutchie bride too but turnover package, no discount. Feeling ko lang nakakatipid because Kutchie uses her corporate rate sa hotels pag full kinuha mo.

btw they agreed to terminate the contract since they realized na they also lack something from their end. Yung cancellation clause pala applies to couple who have broken up or cancelled the wedding thus requiring to pay it in full. I think it was nice that they clarified din the clause so at least both parties met

About La Belle, i think sis sparklingjewel is spot on about them gaining experience and expertise before they charge a high-end fee kasi if not OOT, nasa 15k nalang din pagitan ni La Belle and Kutchie. 

sis ninja8 is right about LB being very OC down to the groom's suit, tie and shoes. lol! Pero napansin ko na very particular sila with the couple's budget. Sila kasi yata as much as possible would like to stick with the suppliers they can vouch for. Napansin ko kasi sa Facebook account nila, halos pareparehas yujng suppliers sa wedding, so that must be the reason.

^ magkano rates ni joed see, sis? siguro naging inspiration ni joed yung wedding niya. she had an awesome wedding, you can tell by the looks (raves) of their guests, suppliers and articles. lol

^sis when I inquired with Joed earlier this year her OTD starts at 27K,  OOT fees not yet included. They are 7 or 8 in the team. Her husband included.  Her team works fast.  They were the OTD of my friend who got married last year. Everything went smoothly in her wedding. They worked really well. I didn't get them though.  But I'm more than happy with my OTD choice We were trying to work within our budget kasi, as well as I was looking for a team who can do hosting as well. I got Ayie for coordinating and hosting as well. So all is well. 😄😄
