Gladz : parang first thing you have to get rid of are junk food (that includes sweets). :D sayang ang diet if you wont control yourself from consuming desserts na sobrang taas ng calories :)

^maraming sweet substitutes, not sweet additives ah iba yun. May sweet tooth din tayo kaya mahirap mawala yun. We have youtube and other websites that can help you with that. Better to learn that siguro para maiba naman. She could be a cake scientist  ;D

pero naniniwala talaga ako na diet wont be a struggle pag nakasanayan na, mahilig ako sa chocolates and sweets before, ngayon, parang nauumay na ako just by thinking or imagining sweets. may ganun nang effect. haha! :D

^That is so true! Before I went into the program I always had Raisinets in the fridge. Di pwede na wala akong supply nun. But after I started and got used to eating healthy, di ko ma-imagine na addict-addict ako sa Raisinets noon. I still have Raisinets in the fridge but never ako na-tempt or had cravings for it. Binabaon na lang ni hubby sa mga flights nya.   :)

^ same here, we have a fridge for chocs lang kasi we always give them out sa suppliers/business contacts namin, dati i find time to check out whats inside the fridge, ngayon, deadma na, i dont even crave for sweets anymore. once in a while may craving pero hindi na kagaya dati na parang i cant live without sweets..

Hello everyone. My first post here. :)

Anyway, my bestfriend is planning to start this diet, I promised to help her (prepare her food, motivate, dance, sing or whatever hehe). So I've been reading this thread and this diet really looks promising in terms of losing weight. My question though is the effect after the diet. Is there anyone here who have retained the same weight after the diet? I've read some negative feedbacks here: http://www.taste.com.au/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=6619&sid=3a5be3c290a059b010e34ce8c0843bd3&start=30 so I'd like to know your inputs regarding this.

Thanks a lot girls. :)

@sweeykoi, I use fresh herbs only not sure about the dry ones. For tuna, you can use both and as long as in brine yung canned tuna mo. Good luck!

Tomorrow's my second weigh in. I didn't lose as much weight as my first month but I'm already 3 dress sizes down. One more dress size and I'll be okay na and start my maintenance phase.. I believe that's the real challenge!

you can use dried herbs. pero in limited amount.  total per day for dried herbs, spices and salt is 1 tsp per day.

I used to plan weekly pero now I don't na.  My meals now depend on what veggies I have.  But if you are just starting, I think it is a good idea to have a weekly menu first.
