Sisters Yvette Religioso-Ilagan and Choc Religioso-Dayrit are not new to the Philippine fashion industry. The duo behind clothing line Religioso have been answering women's needs for feminine and flattering pieces. Since debuting in 2006, the label has produced styles that strike a balance between the idea of the empowered, hardworking woman of the present and the well-dressed, ladylike woman of decades past.
The collaboration with Ensembles, then, was certainly fortuitous. Ensembles has already established itself in the area of stylish corporate wear, a fact the sisters touched upon by creating designs that women can proudly keep in their closets for years to come. Structured dresses, blouses, and skirts feature, all enlivened with Religioso's signature pleats and bows. "Every piece is stylish but not faddish," Yvette explains. Now, what working woman wouldn't love that?
