Debenhams UK recently surveyed women about their top fashion mishaps, in light of Kate Middleton's much-publicized "Marilyn Monroe moment," when a gust of wind blew her skirt up (needless to say, the Duchess of Cambridge handled it with grace and was able to avoid flashing her undergarments to the paparazzi on standby).

While that cringe-worthy moment could be horribly embarrassing for us normal people, it didn't take the top spot in the Debenhams poll. 26 percent of the women surveyed revealed that unknowingly tucking in a portion of their dress into their underwear is their worst fashion mishap.

Having a trail of toilet paper stuck in one's show ranked second, while belatedly realizing that one's top is actually sheer was voted as the third worst fashion faux pas ever.
