Fortunately, the folks at SM Supermarket have come up with a solution—the SM Greenbag. Since its launch in 2007, the country's first reusable shopping bag has been a staple in many Filipinos' shopping routines. Simple and stylish, these totes (available in green and black) allow the carrier to be both eco-friendly and chic.
To encourage even more people to make the switch from disposable to reusable bags, SM Supermarket recently relaunched the bags through a fashion show featuring the sustainable creations of top designers Jun Jun Cambe and Don Cristobal, and hosted by Miss Philippines Earth 2009 Sandra Seifert. The highlight of the event? Gorgeous ladies Heart Evangelista, Georgina Wilson, and Isabel Oli, who all sashayed down the runway in eco-friendly looks.
