Undergarments are one of the "invisible" things that polish your look. It may not be so obvious at first, but wearing the wrong style underneath can ruin the silhouette of your classy outfits–may it be a pristine white tee or a plunging black jumpsuit. Try expanding your go-to options with these other bra styles below:

For V-Neck tops, shirts: T-shirt bra

T-shirt bras have a smooth texture and seamless edges, keeping awkward bulges and textures from peeking through your shirt.

For plunging, halter necklines: deep plunge bras

Small-chested ladies can easily get away with wearing silicone nipple tapes underneath this neckline. But if you need added support for your chest, U-shaped bras will get the job done. Unlike regular bras, the cups are far apart from each other, allowing them to stay hidden underneath your cleavage-baring tops or dresses.

For scoop-neck bodycon dresses, square-neck tops: demi and balconette bras

On those days when you want to feel sexy, reach for a balconette bra. This type of lingerie offers half of the coverage a regular bra provides, making your bust appear fuller and rounder. As holds your chest in place, it makes your bodycon or low, square-neck top look well-fitted, too.

For off-shoulder tops: sleeveless bras, bandeau tops

No surprise here! The only problem is it's quite tricky to get the right fit. The best one should actually support your chest; not fall down, which can be very uncomfortable.

In a feature on In Style, lingerie consultant Jenny Altman advises women to pay attention to the bands of the bra as it's "the only thing holding you up." She says, "You want one that's a little more on the tighter side [but] you don't want to fit more than one or two fingers under the band. You want it to be snug, but it should never hurt or cut off your circulation." Additionally, busty ladies will feel more comfortable with wider bands!

This strapless bra features a wide band:

FN Tip: Not-so-busty ladies can also try bandeau bras with an elastic lining—it'll be enough to keep everything in place.
