There was something somber about Jojie Lloren's recent collection for Fashion Watch Quartet 2011, and it wasn't just the black and white color palette. While the designer opted to feature just two tones, there was something darker and more serious that went beyond the color scheme.

As it turned out, the mood stemmed from the idea behind Lloren's designs: nature and its powerful impact on our lives—both positive and negative. Sleek black dresses and suits opened the show, before finally making way for splashes of white, grey, and blue—shades that, according to Lloren, signal hope. All in all, these are pieces that are chic in their simplicity and timeless enough to remain in a woman's closet for years to come.
