1. PLAIT IT UP

2. ACCESSORIZE ME
Not since Blair Waldorf's headbands circa 2007 have we been this excited about hair accessories! From Louis Vuitton's bow bands atop '60s-style beehives to Chanel's jumbo pearl ponytail holders, these additions instantly transform hair from drab to fab.

3. SO SLICK
Just surfaced from a dip in the pool or the ocean? Don't scruff up your mane just yet! Slicked back styles featured in shows like Thakoon and Rag & Bone, just in time for beach season. We love the balance of sleek athleticism and sultry sexiness—unexpected yet appealing.

4. HOW LOW CAN YOU GO?
Forget about perky cheerleader-style ponytails. This season, when it comes to how you tie your hair, the lower, the better. These 'dos look particularly striking against Spring/Summer 2013's minimalist pieces, so do consider them for a day at the office.

5. THE CHOP
When top model Karlie Kloss debuted a freshly shorn bob at last year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, pandemonium ensued. Of course, she wasn't the only one donning this look. Anne Hathaway, Carey Mulligan, Emma Watson—if these stars are any indication, bobs and pixie cuts are giving their Rapunzel-length sisters a run for their money.
