Jennylyn Mercado's beauty regimen is pretty straightforward.

"Importante lang sa akin, you have to clean, tone, moisturize. Mas natural, mas maganda," she added, and for her, "natural" also means "organic."

At her launch as the ambassador of Max Factor, she underlined, "Ako ngayon, kahit sa pagtanggal ko ng makeup, nandun na ako sa organic side.

And when putting on makeup, she said, "Siguro dapat mas manipis."

The GMA-7 actress pointed out the importance of having a healthy diet in relation to skin care.

According to HealthLine.com, the yellowish-white lumps accumulated under the skin, particularly on the inner parts of your upper and lower eyelids, are called Xanthelasma. They contain "lipids or fats, including cholesterol, and usually appear symmetrically between your eyes and nose."

Jennylyn also emphasized the importance of sleep in maintaining healthy skin.

"Kailangan din ng sleep kasi sa trabaho namin, talagang 24 hours a day or minsan lumalagpas pa.
