According to this Pep.ph article, Anne Curtis is reuniting with Richard Gutierrez—in a movie, that is. The actress and her ex-flame have been cast together alongside fellow thespian Claudine Barretto in the film In Your Eyes, a joint venture by VIVA Films and GMA Films. The cast will be flying to the US next week to shoot several of the film’s sequences.When questioned by Pep.ph about any remaining awkwardness between herself and Richard, Anne shares, “Ah, hindi kami masyadong nagkakailangan ni Chard…kasi nagkakasama naman kami outside of work, kasi nga same group.” But as a caveat, she adds, “But if you asked me two…three years ago [if I would be able to work with him], hindi puwede. Yung hindi ko pa siya kaya harapin. Pero ngayon we’re super okey. That makes a big difference.”
Anne’s current, ex-friendly situation—as many of us will agree—is the ideal rather than the norm. Let’s face it: in many cases, especially after a messy break-up, the “dreaded ex” is the one person in the world whom you never want to cross paths with again. But when you work in the same field—or even worse, in the same company—situations may arise that make it impossible for you to avoid your ex.
