In case you missed it, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto is currently single. His ideal woman? The 30-year-old politician reveals on the GMA News TV show Bawal Ang Pasaway that he would like to meet someone who has "the same wavelength" as him.
Nothing special... Actually, more than matalino, gusto ko ho sana 'yong same wavelength kami. Nagkakaintindihan, lalo na pagdating sa mga topic tungkol sa governance."
Even though Vico became more popular thanks to his recent election win, the young public servant clarifies that ladies aren't exactly chasing after him. In fact, the so-called "Millennial Mayor" rarely encounters women his age at work.
Kaya wala rin pong love life doon, Ma'am... Especially nung naging mayor ho ako, talaga siguro 90% of the time ako po pinakabata sa kuwarto, e.
"Hindi po biro yung sinabi ko na karamihan na nakikilala ko na babae puro senior citizens po. Hindi po joke iyon."
Futhermore, Vico reveals that he has never had a girlfriend yet. "Wala ho. Wala po. Masyadong naging busy po, lalo na po ngayon," the son of Coney Reyes and Vic Sotto tells host Professor Winnie Monsod during the show's August 20 episode. "Hindi ko lang naplano. Lalo na sa ngayon, last thing on my mind 'ika nga. Talagang focus muna on trabaho."
But despite his current responsibilities and priorities, Vico hopes that things will fall into place in due time. He says, "Sana naman before 40. Sa ngayon, masasabi ko na lang po diyan, Diyos na lang po bahala."
He then adds in jest, "Pero tumatanggap naman po ako ng aplikante."
