Rumors of marriage trouble have plagued Toni Gonzaga and husband Paul Soriano since they got married, so on the talk show, Tonight With Boy Abunda, host Boy Abunda asked the host-actress on topic of unfaithfulness.
"It's so easy to be faithful," Toni replied as shown on a clip on YouTube. "There's no reason for me to look the other way—hindi ako nagsasalita ng period kasi baka dumating ang point na i-test kami ni God, na ayaw ko na dumating 'yung point na 'yon," she added.
"Pero ngayon, there's no way for me to look the other way. Kasi I'm so occupied with Seve, I'm so occupied in building our family. And there are so many dreams that we're building together na ayaw kong masira."
Asked if Paul is also loyal, Toni simply replied, "Yes, he is."
Toni said she's grateful her family is complete. "I feel like I deserve a complete family that I have right now," replied Toni in a clip on YouTube when Abunda when asked what she thinks is the one things she deserves in life. "Because I worked so hard all my life, I tried to be a good person. Feeling ko parang 'yun naman 'yung deserve ko in life," she added.
"Kapag nag-asawa ako hanggang sa lumaki ang mga anak ko, buo ang pamilya. Na hindi broken 'yung marriage, hindi broken 'yung home. Na lumaki si Seve na buo 'yung pamilya niya," Toni continued. "Because I grew up witnessing that. My parents fought hard to be together. So I feel like Seve deserves that," she stressed.
And following the footsteps of her parents, Toni is determined to fight for her, Paul and Seve to have that complete family that all of three of them deserves to have. "You fight to be together," she said.
Even if it's with pain, which Toni says she's has a high tolerance for, it will not stop her from fighting for her family. "I allow room for mistakes," she told Abunda in response to what her threshold is when it comes to love.
It's something she learned from her mom. "Don't be too hard on your husband. Learn how to love your husband not just during the best of times but through the worst," Toni said Mommy Pinti shared with her.
Even if it's through a distance, Toni said she wouldn't mind moving to California to keep her family intact, ABS-CBN News reports. Before tying the knot, Paul had asked Toni if she wouldn't mind moving to Los Angeles.
"If there will come a time that there's such a big and great opportunity waiting for you there, as your wife I will submit to you. I will follow wherever you go," Toni told Paul then.
