Sunshine Cruz, who traded her showbiz career for domestic bliss when she tied the knot with actor Cesar Montano back in 2000, has confirmed her return to acting. This came shortly after news of Cesar’s alleged affair with starlet Krista Miller broke out last month.

ABS-CBNNews.com reports that Sunshine, who made a guest appearance last year on the teleserye Be Careful With My Heart, is slated to appear on an ABS-CBN show soon, but the actress did not give further details.

However, there are people who have speculated that Sunshine will use her revived acting career as a way to escape from her much-publicized marital problems.

Cesar has admitted that he and Sunshine are currently going through some issues in their marriage, but he has promised to do everything he can to fix their relationship. Krista has also defended Cesar, insisting that he loves his family a lot and that he wasn’t the one who gave her the t-shirt, chocolate, and the iPhone 5 in her Instagram posts.
