Janelle Manahan confirmed through her legal counsel, Atty. Argee Gueverra, that she was the woman in the sex video spreading on the web shown being intimate with Ramgen Revilla in a bathroom, Philstar.com reports.
Guevarra said Janelle was "distraught" after finding out about what happened through social networks. "This video represents the second assassination of Ramgen and second frustrated murder of Janelle orchestrated and masterminded by the Bautista household," he told Philstar.com in a phone interview.
"That video was stored in Ramgen’s computer and later transferred to one of the computers of the Bautista household," he added.
He also said that one of Ramgen's younger siblings was blackmailing Janelle on Facebook. “She was told ‘you are not clean, ate Janelle.'"
Meanwhile, Atty. Jeffrey Gepte, the Bautistas' lawyer, said putting the blame on the family was "absurd" because only Ramgen and Janelle were involved in the incident. "It would be very absurd for the whole Bautista family to know about it.”
Janelle is a witness in the Ramgen Revilla murder case, which implicates Ramona and RJ Bautista, Ram's siblings, as the masterminds behind his killing on October 28.
