Park Bo-gum, who has appeared in Encounter, Love in the Moonlight, and the heart-rending Reply 1988, is back with another series you’ll look forward to! Netflix has just announced the premiere of Record of Youth, which has been scheduled in the latter half of 2020.

Bo-gum will play Sa Hye-jun, an aspiring model-actor trying to keep a positive outlook despite daily struggles and let-downs. He will be working with actress Park So-dam of Parasite fame, who takes on the character of the independent An Jeong-ha, a witty and strong-willed makeup artist.

Record of Youth is directed by An Gil-ho, who is behind Stranger and Memories of Alhambra, and is written by Ha Myeong-hee, who also wrote Doctors and Temperature of Love.

Park Bo-gum is no stranger to his Filipino fanbase as he visited Manila in June 2019. Anne Curtis, who hosted the fan meet, shared that it was “one of the most memorable hosting duties” she has ever had. She also thanked the actor for being “the perfect gentleman who inspires and touches peoples lives.

“We will be patiently waiting for when you visit again,” Anne said. We’re sure that hallyu fans are wishing for the same thing, too.
